Introducing: Winter Wellbeing 101
Winter can be a hard time for many of us. Shorter days, colder temperatures, increased financial pressures and burnout due to extra socialising can all take their toll on our wellbeing, leading us to feel low, get sick and generally dread the darker months.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. Winter can be a season of comfort and joy. It can be a time of connection and creativity. It can be a time of deep nourishment and rest, of growth and intention, of balance and bliss.
As we look to the months that lie ahead of us, we can hope for more than just survival - with the right tools and actions, we can flourish and thrive.
How would it feel to…
Let go of the fear and look forward to the winter period?
Be fully present for all of the best bits of the season?
Maintain your health and energy during the darker months?
Keep prioritising the things that bring you joy?
Embrace and enjoy the season instead of simply trying to get through it?
Enter: Winter Wellbeing 101.
Over 6 weeks, we’ll use unique tools from positive psychology and the latest research on wellbeing to help you prepare for your best winter yet. We’ll turn your seasonal stressors into strengths, find the joy in the winter period and create a plan to help you thrive regardless of the weather.
You’ll also receive access to two bonus workshops: Planning for a Joyful Festive Period and Finding Joy in January, both of which will help you to prepare in more detail for the trickier parts of the winter season.
As with all of my work, this programme is evidence-based and informed by the latest research, but it’s also practical and accessible - we have to put things into action if we want to change our experience of winter, and I’ll help you do just that.
Here’s what we’ll cover:
Getting clear on the foundations of wellbeing
Understanding stress and how it impacts wellbeing
Understanding the specific challenges that winter brings, and how we can tackle them
Identifying the things that can make us feel good in winter
Finding comfort and joy in this season
The demands vs resources model and how this can help us to thrive
The role of boundaries and how to set them
Routines and habits to support your wellbeing, and how to sustain them
Creating a personalised plan to manage your wellbeing this winter
